A good leather handbag can be repaired and refinished . Your bag will look like new and you can get all your leather products repaired and refitted here, even your leather pants.
Refinishing a leather handbag includes cleaning, conditioning and color matching the handbag, then a water and stain protector treatment is applied to keep the handbag clean for a longer period of time.
Re-glazing an alligator or croc skin or replacing a portion that has got worn is also an option. Work could also include replacing zippers, or replacing a portion that has got worn out and thereby matching the colors too. The counter person would direct you to the repairs that are required. Any type of animal skin can be repaired, so bring back your favorite bag too, we can do that for you.

Shoe Shine Service
For many years the shoe shining service or shoe shine stand in our society has slowly evaporated into the mists of time it seems. There was a time when a shoe shine stand would be a common site in public areas, such as bus and train stations and many other visible places in town. Now when we think of shoe shining, we tend to think of some sort of old fashion trade that has disappeared. We think of a past era akin to the good old days when things were simpler and there was true quality and sincerity in what people did. Well times have changed. We are a more cynical generation, this is the world of fast food, television and disposable items. When do people have time to sit and get their shoes shined in today's hectic society? When do people actually receive a quality service for a great price nowadays? When does somebody actually have any real sense of pride in what they do anymore ? We at the Cobblers Den are quality minded and actually take pride in our work, we clean the shoe to remove any dirt or dust, then we use a dry cleaning agent to remove any old wax build up on the leather, next we condition the leather to make it resilient and soft and then lastly we seal the shoe with a high quality leather luster cream to polsih the leather to a high finish using our horse hair brushes. That's what we call a shoe shine, the process will give life to your shoes and make them last much longer.

 

Zippers Repaired
There are two kinds of zippers:

• Open end, a.k.a. separating, such as the zippers on most coats and jackets. When closing a separating zipper, first one grabs the puller or pull tab with thumb and finger and moves the slider down as far as it will travel, until it hits the box and stops. Then the pin of the free half of the zipper is inserted in the slider until it is aligned and engaged. Then the slider is pulled up, which in turn forces the zipper's many teeth to interlock to create the chain--the continuous piece that is formed when both halves of a zipper are meshed together. Top stops--two fixed devices fastened to the opposite end of a zipper--prevent the slider from coming off the chain.
• Closed end, a.k.a. non-separating, such as are almost universal on pants and the backs of dresses. A closed end zipper has no pin, but otherwise closely resembles an open end style.

When a damaged or worn slider does not push the chain halves together just so, the teeth are prevented from engaging one another. New slider tolerances are tight and precise to ensure proper closing action, but with repeated use and twisting a slight widening of critical slider gaps in two separate planes can occur. Often these gaps can be narrowed and proper zipping action restored.

Small rips, holes, tears are usually repaired with our  repair compound. This leaves a permanent repair that is difficult for any one to see and it feels and looks very close to the original. We are proud to offer the Klenz sanitizing process, we take your shoes, handbags, golf shoes, gloves, etc. and place them in the sanitizer. It uses no chemicals at all; it is a machine that uses Silver Oxide to kill any bacteria that causes odor, and mold.
So bring your items in to be sanitized the cost is minimal but the results are monumental.
